Ares 620 Rental Program FAQ

Ares 620 Rental Program FAQ

How many studies can we upload per month?

This is based on your contract. The Standard Rental plan allows 5 uploads per month per device. The Premium Rental plan allows 10 uploads per month per device.

Once you have met your monthly upload quota, overage fees will apply for each additional Valid study upload.

If you are contracted under both plans:

i.e.- 1 device @ 5 uploads per month and 1 @ 10 uploads per month for a total of 15 uploads per month, any overages will be charged at the Premium $20 rate per upload.

18 Valid uploads at the end of the month will result in 3 overage fees @ $20 each totaling $60.

What happens if we exceed our monthly upload limit?

For Standard customers, each Valid study over your 5-study limit is $30 each. For Premium customers, the fee is $20 each.

When and how are the totals calculated?

At the beginning of the month, totals are recorded for the previous month. If the number of Valid studies uploaded exceeds the total allotted per your contract, you will be charged an overage fee per study.

What counts as a Valid study?

Studies considered “Valid” will count towards your monthly totals. If a study results in Error or Void status, it will not count towards your monthly study limit. Studies not uploaded to the Watermark Portal will not count towards your monthly total.

Do studies still count towards my monthly totals if they’re not Interpreted?

YES. If study is uploaded AND Valid, it counts towards your monthly limit regardless of Interpretation being provided or not.

Will duplicate study uploads count towards my monthly totals?

YES. If the same Valid study is uploaded more than once, it will count towards your monthly limit. If there is a study uploaded more than once by mistake, please communicate this to our Support team to have them voided as soon as possible to avoid these records being counted.

If I have more than one device, do I have to track how many tests have been uploaded per device?

NO. If you have multiple devices, the upload limit is the total number of all your devices. For example, if you have 3 devices contracted at 5 uploads per month, you can upload 15 tests within a month without accruing any overage fees. The uploads can be done in any combination across the 3 devices.

A patient’s device was Initialized and tested in one month but not uploaded until the next month, which month will the test be counted towards?

The upload counts toward the month it was uploaded. The Initialization and test dates are irrelevant.
